"Can we bring the kids on this one?" — the question we hear most on the phone. The honest answer depends on the tour and the age. Here is a realistic guide, age by age.
The general rule by age
Ages 0-2 travel free on all our tours; ages 3-11 pay a child rate. Price is the easy part — the real question is whether the programme fits a child's day: departure time, drive time and shade are the three variables that matter.
Easy with a baby (0-2)
Short-route boat trips are the safest pick: shade, frequent stops, early return. Flat-walkway canyons like Sapadere work with a carrier, and short city tours with air-conditioned breaks are fine too.
Favourites for ages 3-8
The dolphin show is the undisputed champion of this bracket. An aquarium-plus-waterfall day, the pirate boat's foam party and Land of Legends' daytime programme are all safe cards.
Avoid: not for small children
Rafting combos, buggy/quad safaris and the long-haul day trips (the Pamukkale programme runs up to 18 hours) turn into an ordeal with little ones. Paragliding has age and weight limits anyway.
Drive times and stops
Simple rule: any leg over an hour needs a planned break. Every tour page lists its stops; if in doubt, ask on WhatsApp — someone who knows the route will answer.
What to mention when booking
The number of children and their ages — that's all. Booster seats in vehicles and life jackets on boats are prepared from the guest list; a surprise guest means a missing item.
